Ishmael Spencer Wade is a native of Columbia, SC, and is the current pastor of the Maranatha Fellowship Church in Greenville, SC. Pastor Wade is happily married to the love of his life, Brittany, and they are the proud parents of their daughter, Graceyn. Pastor Wade began his ministerial journey at the Capitol Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church in Washington, DC, serving as the assistant pastor, and later became the lead pastor of the Campostella Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church in Norfolk, VA. Pastor Wade is passionate about community engagement, evangelism, and expositional teaching. In his personal time, he enjoys playing chess, listening to music, reading, and spending time with his family. He is also an avid Boston Celtics supporter. Pastor Wade is a strong believer in the transforming power of God’s grace. That is why his favorite text is 1 Corinthians 15:10: “By the grace of God I am what I am.”
